Many people have been asking us what our Middle School (and future High School) program looks like, and why their child/young adult should join us. We are now inviting families to join one of our free webinars this fall/winter to learn more, including how to apply for a free scholarship for one school year!
Our middle school began in 2022, only one year after the school started(!) and has been small from the outset. This is typical for Montessori schools across the globe as enrollment happens over time, with students graduating into the program from the lower level programs as the students come of age.
Still, we recognize that our Adolescent program has something special to offer youth ages 12+ years in our local community, who may feel like they could benefit from an education that highlights independent work and entrepreneurship, individualized and small group learning, hands-on projects that integrate with different subjects and disciplines, all of which provide the groundwork for academic studies and preparation for life beyond school.
To remedy that, we are offering free webinars this November 2024 - and again in and January 2025 - for anyone interested in learning more. In addition to information on the program, we are offering as something special, four (4) free scholarships for a school year for eligible families, with the opportunity for tuition aid for subsequent years.
The following dates and times for our first webinars are currently set:
Saturday, November 16 between 1:00pm - 2:30pm
Wednesday, November 20 between 7:00pm - 8:30pm
The webinar will be run by Head of School Sophie Wallas Rasmussen and Head of Admissions David Madie, who will cover components of the program, what to expect, what we plan for on the pathway towards high school and graduation, and how to apply. Participants will have an opportunity to questions and engage in conversation after the presentation.
